Kent Police will host the National Police Dog Trials 2009 for the first time in the prestigious event’s 49 year history. The final phase of the trials will take place at the castle. Families and dog lovers can watch the police dogs demonstrate their skills in obedience, agility, chasing and detaining an offender and dealing with weapon attacks. A great opportunity to see the dogs carry out their vital role in modern law enforcement. Visitors are reminded that dogs are not permitted on the estate if not participating in the event.
