Coffee and Corks, Palace Street
Canterbury Greenpeace Group invites you to a free floor poetry night, in support of our Airplot third runway campaign. There is free entry and a free prize draw. The winner will ‘runaway’ with three hours recording time, and watch their literary career take off (not literally). This prize is generously donated by Skillnet Group’s West Track Studios, who we have enjoyed working with on several occasions and who support Greenpeace’s Airplot campaign.
Everyone entering the raffle will become beneficial owner to a plot of land on the site of the proposed Heathrow expansion. You will be joining forces with legal owners: Emma Thompson, Alistair McGowan, Zac Goldsmith and Greenpeace U.K. As a beneficial owner you'll be demonstrating to the Government that it is crucial that this country’s carbon emissions are reduced.
Dressing up is smiled on at this event, and performers are welcome to take the stage impersonating an aeroplane, as Alistair McGowan might.
