Big entertainment, big festival food, big art, big dance and big sporting events; Gravesham’s first Big 7 Festival brings the borough seven magnificent days of family fun and entertainment.
The festival runs from Sunday 28 June to Saturday 4 July and has seven main events which culminate with the annual Big Day Out, with a host of free events that everyone can enjoy.
There is a huge range of events taking place, with highlights including The Big Gig - a free Friday night concert and parade, Iconic Film Night, where you can vote from a selection of films to be shown on the big screen, street theatre and entertainers and a recycled fashion show. Local organisations, businesses, schools and community groups have all contributed to the week-long celebrations.
The Big 7 sprints into action with a big family fun run at Riverside Leisure Area on Sunday 28 June. A touch of Las Vegas glitz and glamour will be stilt walking its way through Windmill Street on Monday 29 June as Elvis Patelvis and his dazzling assistant Vegas Girl entertain the public in their vibrant costumes.
Jazz and Jive with a live band in the Kent Room on Tuesday 30 June, watch an iconic film as voted for by you at Woodville Halls on Wednesday 1 July and get your kids active from 2pm with a free adventure afternoon that same day.
