RSS Feeds are now available from kent.co.uk for the latest Kent groups, places, events and kent.co.uk users. These feeds are available using simple RSS technology, and are free for anyone to use.
You can use these Kent feeds on your own website or blog, or subscribe to them through your own RSS reader like Google Reader. The different types of RSS feeds available are listed below:

Personal RSS Feeds from kent.co.uk:
If you are a registered user of kent.co.uk, you can now grab an RSS feed of all your personal status updates, actions and comments, to feed into other services like Twitter or Facebook.
To find your personal RSS feed simply log into your profile page and click on the orange RSS symbol situated in your web browser's address bar.
Importing third party RSS feeds into kent.co.uk:
You can now import a third party RSS feed into your personal profile on kent.co.uk, so updates will be seen by your friends. For example you could import your Twitter tweets, Linked In status, latest blog posts, or even BBC news headlines about your favourite subject. You can usually identify and find an RSS feed on a website by clicking on the orange RSS logo:
To import a feed, log in to your kent.co.uk profile page and click the link under the box saying ‘Write something to your news feed…’, or click on Settings. Halfway down the Settings page, enter the URL of the RSS feed in the box next to External RSS Import and save changes. The latest content from your feed will then be published into your status updates on a regular basis.
Please note you can only import one RSS feed at a time – go back to the Settings page to change it. Any content you add to the site, including RSS feeds, must comply with our acceptable use policy.
