Brands Hatch is a purpose-built race circuit located in Kent, just south-east of London, and has easy access to the M25 and M20 motorways. It features two configurations - a short two kilometre layout known as the 'Indy' circuit and a longer, 3.7km version known as the 'Grand Prix' circuit. This was used from 1964 to 1986 for Formula One racing.
The venue is well-suited to training for road cycling, as it is a closed circuit, featuring excellent facilities such as restaurants, toilets, a media centre, meeting rooms and unlimited car parking. There is also 24-hour security on site. Brands Hatch has considerable experience of hosting major national and international sporting events and is known throughout the world.
There is a hotel located within walking distance of Brands Hatch, offering 121 bedrooms and for an additional charge, wireless internet access.
