Capstone Farm Country Park

Capstone Farm Country Park is set in 114 hectares of former farmland on the North Downs. The park attracts more than 200,000 visitors a year and there are a variety of habitats to explore, from ancient woodlands and orchards to wildflower meadows. Facilities include a visitor centre and a fishing lake. The park is typical of the rolling landscape of the North Downs and many of the woods and hedgerows are hundreds of years old.

I visited Capstone today with my husband and 11 month old son, bit of a mix up with the directions as the main access road is closed and the diversion wasn\'t very clear... but once we found it we enjoyed wondering around the lake and had refreshments at the cafe, would recommend the Capstone burger. Some of the area is suitable for prams but lack of route signposts meant we couldn\'t explore very far. Dogs are welcome. For a enjoyable few hours and picnic would definitley recommend a vist.
