Hadlow College is set in the heart of rural Kent with easy access to mainline train services, major airports and the M25 motorway. The College is among the top-performing land-based colleges for further education. In the last four years we have invested £8m in our facilities; a further £55m will be invested over the next four years.
The college has extensive equine resources, outstanding catering facilities, sports and recreational areas all encompassed within a 400ha estate.
The Equestrian Centre is located in the centre of the campus, offers easy access to residential accommodation, recreational facilities, restaurants as well as local produce shops and amenities.
Hadlow College is focused upon providing outstanding facilities and training for all learners, raising standards of horse husbandry, welfare, coaching, training and equitation.
Hosting experience
Hadlow College Equine Centre hosts large local and national events regularly, including Dressage, Show Jumping and Hunter Trials. All indoor and outdoor areas are inter-connected, irrigated, illuminated and have public address systems. The largest arena benefits from having a heated gallery and seating.
The cross-country course extends round the edge of the farm estate and includes the following fences: coffins, water jumps, ditches, corners, banks, sunken road and combinations.
Lorry and public parking are located close to the equine centre training facilities. The centre also benefits from 65 stables, horse walker, high speed treadmill, heart rate monitors, solarium, farrier and wash-down areas.
We also host a programme of training clinics with top international trainers and other equestrian events, which can attract up to 1500 spectators.
