Kent Beach with long, rural sandy bay with rocky and shingle areas, promenade and paddling pool. Tidal bay except on spring tides. Sailing club, windsurfing area and seal watching trips and kite board lessons available. Facilities include lifeguards, First Aid station, cafes, toilets, bay inspector/information, parking facilities, chalets for hire, picnic area, public house nearby and children's play area nearby. Disabled access to the beach with disabled toilets open all year and disabled parking bays.

From 1st May to 30th September no dogs allowed during any part of the day
Minnis Bay is a sandy bay with shingle and rock areas near Birchington, and has a Blue Flag Award.
Its attractions include a sailing club, a windsurfing area, seal watching trips and kite board lessons.
