The world famous city of Canterbury has a thriving cosmopolitan feel. Its historic streets are packed with shops and art galleries and is full of history and culture. The city's - sometimes - grisly history form a great trail of discovery for visitors. Canterbury is very proud of its commitment toward supplying first-class support by its sports-minded team and make the camp an ideal place for athletes and team staff to live and train.
Sports facilities include two multi-purpose sports halls, fully air-conditioned gymnasium and cardiovascular theatre, dance studio, squash courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, floodlit football pitch, floodlit hockey pitch, playing field, spectator seating and changing rooms/showers. The University also has three mobility scooters available for use around the campus.
Flexible access to all facilities is available to athletes and will be supported by a professional team of sports staff.
The University's superb facilities, relaxed atmosphere and excellent road and rail links into London and other venues outside of the capital makes it the perfect camp for any team to stay at during their time in the UK.
